Critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated, John Fullbright is a musical triple threat - songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and singer of the highest order. His Oklahoma roots are apparent in his music, but his sound is his own. Catch a live show and be mesmerized by the artistry of this talented individual. Recommended if you like Leon Russell, Jimmy Webb, or Guy Clark.
While still in high school, he performed at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival in Okemah. In 2009 he released the album Live at the Blue Door and three years later released his first studio album, From the Ground Up, which received a Grammy nomination in the category Best Americana Album.
We’ve been working hard to get John back since his last Coda appearance in 2023… He only plays a handful of shows each year, we’re honored he’s chosen Coda for his final performance of 2025. A special up-close and personal event in support of his latest critically acclaimed release, The Liar.
