Ben Miller

Growing up in rural Curlew, Washington, Ben Miller began playing guitar at 16, turning his back on a promising career as a visual artist to focus on music.  He gained experience busking while road-tripping around America, and during an extended stay in Eastern Europe.  He eventually formed the Ben Miller Band, which since 2012 has released three critically acclaimed albums on New West Records - including 2018's Choke Cherry Tree.  The band continues to tour extensively, building a legion of fans around the world.

Mishka Shubaly

After receiving an expensive MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, Mishka Shubaly promptly realized he was more interested in playing music in dive bars than writing.  He lived out of a Toyota minivan for a year, toured nonstop, and was soon sharing the stage with artists like The Strokes, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Decemberists among others.  Shubaly's songs, which are often comedic, sometimes downright offensively so, have been embraced by among others renegade comic Doug Stanhope.  His song "Don't Cut Yr Hair" has long been the theme song for Stanhope's podcast.  Time Out New York recently praised Shubaly as a "gruff and rough-voiced chronicler of mankind's darkest impulses and failures, a guy with a ticket to hell and back."

Jr Soapbox

Hailing from the Ozark mountains of southwest Missouri, singer-songwriter Jr Soapbox has from a young age pushed the boudaries of conventional music.   Playing a variety of instruments, never beholden to one genre, his shows are refreshingly creative - full of unexpected twists & turns, striking nerves of both humor and dark introspection.  Jr has played for audiences from Portland to Nashville to New York including Folk Alliance, Harvest Moon Festival, The Alaskan State Fair, & Roots Fest.  His prolific songwriting has been compared to that of Isaac Brock, Sturgill Simpson, & Kurt Cobain.
