Led by front man Mato Nanji, blues-inspired rock group INDIGENOUS rose to prominence out of the Yankton Sioux Reservation with their award-winning debut album, THINGS WE DO, in 1998. Nanji has since captivated audiences with his Vaughan- and Hendrix-influenced prowess. Featured on broadcast shows such as NPR's "All Things Considered", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "CBS Saturday Morning," and "Austin City Limits", their single "Now That You're Gone" peaked at #22 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart.

Mato has been a member of the Experience Hendrix Tour since 2002.  Playing alongside original Jimi Hendrix band members, the tour roster includes some of today’s blues greats including Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall II, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, & Eric Johnson

Indigenous visits the Coda in support of their latest release - Gray Skies, which Mato dedicates to all young people on the indigenous reservations.

100% of ALL proceeds go directly to the artists performing, w/ a minimum suggested donation for seated general admission.  Reserved sponsor seats are also available that help pay for hotel rooms for our artists.
